A stereotype to be sure . . . and as was pointed out earlier, most stereotypes are based in some truth. I have to say that most of my black students do have a surfeit of talent for singing and dancing! Wonderful to experience.
(always wished I could sing like Whitney Houston and dance like Arthur Duncan and Gregory Hines . . . among many others I loved listening to and watching!)
