What a wonderful chapter and in the same time a very annoying one...:-)
I didn't expect it and here it was - the comtesse Walewska - my favourite romantic story when I was 15 ! The 'grand amour' of Napoleon !
And then... Vian ?! Do you never feel pity for poor Darcy ? Does it feel like he needs a rival now ?! And a flatterer, no less ?! Gossiping and talking 1000 words/min, like a good steno secretary ?! Exactly what Darcy is NOT ?!
I dread their meeting - and whatDarcy's thoughts would be !!
And I hope Elizabeth will have some sense to put him in knowledge soon enough !
When is chapter 23 scheduled ?!
