Hey, with no offence to anyone who enjoys this kind of beauty, but since I'm finally having some free time to check some boards, I cannot help myself from writing a fairly biased opinion about aesthetics and general hotness. Those of you who do enjoy the occasional Miss Whatever contests, just don't mind about my rant.
Now, I don't get to watch the contest, but I checked all the ladies from the Miss World 2006 website. What to me there is wrong with these girls is, that they try to look hot, which takes a lot away from the possibility of them having any natural beauty. It's one thing to look "sexy" with a pretentious and forced smile or some other facial expression, forged by one way or other by the photographers and whoever, but I'm keeping up some hopes that true beauty will be more admired than the produced kind. Okay, I'm still a snob.
There's something about the French lady that appeals to me though. Perhaps even the girl from El Salvador.
To continue a pointless rant, I started to think while looking at these girls: how many of them are really happy at what they're up to? How many of them are going to be disappointed? How many will have any actual advantage of their status as Miss Whatever? Okay, I confess I know next to nothing about that one, but I'm sure some of them don't really want to be there, or don't have any original thoughts and know of no better. How many of you actually remember some Miss Specific from the last 5 years?
It's a factory. Creating generic female bodies, "flawless" enough to show off expensive and uncomfortable clothing, be it a nightdress, bikini or whatever. And I just realized, I hate bikini, and so I decided to ask about it from some of my male friends. It appears none of my male friends like bikini either. So, something's wrong. Is it the men or the women?
