She pulled him closer and said with mock seriousness, �After seeing your fine work in charming another cook, in what has apparently been a long line of them, I wish you to know that I will take my tasks as Mrs. Darcy very seriously and keep you far away from any more kitchens. And as for your hunger,� and she gave him a kiss on his nose, �I am not sure it will ever be satiated, but I shall endeavour to always make the attempt to feed you well.�
