Darcy grew worried when he did not find Elizabeth in the morning parlour, the music room, nor the library. He looked through the remaining rooms and then searched all of them once more. He returned to their chamber to see if she might not have come back, but finding it empty he ran down the stairs and started to open every door randomly. When he approached the servants� wing he heard noises coming from the kitchen. He sighed with relief and pushed the door open, leaning against its frame to see what was occupying his wife.
