Hi everybody,
My real name is Ion Sandu, but many friends call me John (the equivalent of Ion in English) since High School. I am 51 years old and a Gemini in the European Horoscopes, while a Fire Monkey in the Chinese one, therefore my fate master dressed me for success, so it's said, but so far I had also good and evil a plenty in my life. From the good happenings we may count a - most of the time - happy marriage (second one, well, I'm quite open to the new, I can't help it being a Gemini and a Fire Monkey) and the three children God blessed me with - one 28 year old daughter, one 22 year old son and one 11 year old little daughter (out of two marriages is not bad at all). Also a good accomplishment was my graduating as an Economist and my 15 year-carrier in airline business with 7 year-posting abroad in English speaking countries, resulting in a good level of knowledge in English language and culture. But abroad posting brought into my life the most wretched happening, while in India I have caught a tropical disease, being brought back to normal life after a heavy surgery and 2 and a half years of retirement.
As I believe in signs, I took this almost death experience as a sign that I have to drastically change my life, and being an addicted of Jane Austen, yes, and I am a male, ha-ha-ha, especially P&P, since 1980 after P&P1 release, so I have decided to endeavour to become a writer, this is the reason of being in fan fiction field right now. I consider this period as a training session, but nevertheless as you can see by yourselves I take this job quite seriously.
I enjoy and delight myself reading all that is posted as P&P fan fiction - Regency - and I am thrilled whenever the muse is striking my brain from its natural idleness and starts the creative process!
I hope with all my heart that my mission is to bring joy with my writing to as many as possible, you are called to say if I'm right!
