I'm with the rest of the ladies on this one. There is some bad ju-ju going on. This Wickham is particularly creepy and I'm astonished that the normally intrepid Lizzy didn't find some saucy way to put him in his place and make it clear to him that she didn't appreciate his advances.
What on earth does he have planned? He may not care that she's not interested in him, he is obviously more pleased with the thought that Darcy is interested in Lizzy and therein lies his weapon....What ruin will he bring to her in order to injure Darcy? Please don't let it be a forced marriage. My poor heart couldn't stand the strain. If I was a nail biter, they'd be down to the quick right now.
