Wickham lurking in the shrubs!!! What on earth would make Lizzy think that appropriate?? I know she wasn't aware of who would be watching her outside, but she should certainly wonder at Wickham's odd behavior at the ball. She's a bright girl, how can she give it no further thought than that?
At least Darcy is aware that Elizabeth now favors Wickham and just what he is up against though on the surface it would appear that he's given up (I hope he hasn't! )....You've changed things just enough, Cristal, that I'm clueless as to where you're taking us next.
Loved the sweet little note that Darcy sent with her whip. I'll admit it, I'm prejudiced in Darcy's favor every time!
