Hi Laura & Sylwia... I just had to post another review to tell you...
I had read the whole of S&S so fast trying to get past all the "angsty to me misunderstandings" that Darcy and Elizabeth had about each other (knowing as the reader they were suffering for no reason) And then "bit my nails" at the edge of my seat hoping against hope that our Lizzy would NOT be fooled by that Monsieur Vian cunning plans. And I rushed through the reading of the first duel hoping Darcy would WIN inspite of the taunting words by Vian again and his stealing that token ribbon of Lizzy's... (I cried and hurt for Darcy!)
I've re-read the very touching and romantic section of their coming together after the second duel... and savoured every imagination of it all. Absolutely LOVED the "dancing Darcy" scenes!
Now, I'm re-reading S&S from the beginning much slower... EXCELLENT... WONDERFUL... so much details and little hints along the way that I MISSED the first time reading... I get lost in the story now... not wanting to come back to RL... this story has gripped my imagination and I can almost FEEL that I'm right there with them... don't want to stop reading it -- makes me feel the loss of their presence and the beauty of all the descriptive scenes that pass through my minds eye...
I can't wait to read more... Meanwhile, I'm very much savouring the re-reading of it again! Thanks so very much for sharing this lovely story!!!
Hugs,
tJean aka mamatree ;-)
